Albuquerque Couple Arrested for 2014 Murder

After a long investigation Detectives from San Juan County Sheriff’s Office Charge 45 year-old Kenneth Burrows of Albuquerque, NM, with 1st degree Murder  and 32 year-old Tiki Marez of Albuquerque, NM, with Accessory to 1st degree Murder.

Two Charged in the January 18, 2014, Homicide of Daniel Boone.

On 01/18/2014, at approximately at 8:47 PM, San Juan County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a residence located at #5 CR3235. On arrival Deputies found one male victim lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. The deceased was identified as 28 year-old male Daniel Boone.

After a long investigation Detectives from San Juan County Sheriff’s Office Charge 45 year-old Kenneth Burrows of Albuquerque, NM, with 1st degree Murder  and 32 year-old Tiki Marez of Albuquerque, NM, with Accessory to 1st degree Murder.

No motive for the killing was released.

  • Police ID Suspect and Officers involved in Hines Rd. Shooting

    Upon arrival, officers observed a male and female walking who matched the provided descriptions. Officers gave commands for Leon Quintana (27) to place his hands on his head and walk backward toward them. During the encounter, Mr. Quintana hesitated and shifted his movements while officers continued giving commands. He then produced a firearm and fired a shot toward officers, striking an officer’s patrol car. A second shot was also fired.
