Attempted Murder Arrest

Detectives requested assistance from FPD’s Gang Unit in locating the suspect. The individual, later identified as 41-year-old Marcus McGee, was located at his residence in Farmington. McGee was transported to FPD and interviewed by detectives. A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. McGee was booked and charged for attempted second-degree murder. He is being held at the San Juan County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.

From Farmington Police:

On January 1 at approximately 2:44 a.m. Farmington police were dispatched to the 1200 block of North Wall in reference to a shooting. Officers arrived and found a 59-year-old man had been shot multiple times. The individual was transported to San Juan Regional Medical Center and flown to Albuquerque later that morning.

 

The Farmington Police Department’s Detective Division responded to the scene and began their investigation. Detectives requested assistance from FPD’s Gang Unit in locating the suspect. The individual, later identified as 41-year-old Marcus McGee, was located at his residence in Farmington. McGee was transported to FPD and interviewed by detectives. A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. McGee was booked and charged for attempted second-degree murder. He is being held at the San Juan County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.
