Aztec Mill Levy Passes by 71 Vote Margin

Unofficial results show the Aztec Mill Levy Mail in Ballot question passed with the 71 vote margin. The voting deadline was 7pm Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

Unofficial results show the Aztec Mill Levy Mail in Ballot question passed with the 71 vote margin.  The voting deadline was 7pm Tuesday, March 19, 2024.  The Aztec Municipal School board voted to have a second ballot on the question, and voted defeated the measure in November by a slim 4-vote margin.  The Aztec School District paid the cost of the mail in election. Ballots were mailed out to all registered voters in the Aztec School District on February 21, 2024 by the San Juan County Clerk's Office in Aztec.

Unofficial results show 1,350 votes FOR the question with 1,279 votes AGAINST it.

He then produced a firearm and fired a shot toward officers, striking an officer’s patrol car. A second shot was also fired.
