Farmington, NM - On Monday. September 14th, 2015, at approximately 0636 hours, Farmington Police Officers were dispatched to the Rimrock Inn, 2530 Bloomfield Hwy, in reference to a found body.

Farmington, NM - On Monday. September 14th, 2015, at approximately 0636 hours, Farmington Police Officers were dispatched to the Rimrock Inn, 2530 Bloomfield Hwy, in reference to a found body. The body was observed by the caller through an open door, on the floor of one of the rooms. When officers arrived, they located a deceased adult male. Detectives and crime scene personnel are currently investigating the death as a homicide. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending next of kin notification. Despite a quick response from fire crews and efforts by San Juan County Sheriff’s Deputies, one occupant was removed from the structure by firefighters and transported to the hospital by San Juan Regional Medical Center EMS. The occupant was pronounced dead at the hospital.
