San Juan Regional Medical Center says e-mails sent to staff recently may not have been delivered. The organization suggests calling (505)609-2000 to reach a staff member or finding a direct phone number at http://www.sanjuanregional.com. The hospital says IT issues are not impacting their clinical systems or affecting patient care.

From San Juan Regional Medical Center:

San Juan Regional Medical Center is experiencing IT issues that are affecting email communication and internet connectivity. The IT issues are not impacting our ability to use our clinical systems and are not affecting patient care.

Our IT team is working around the clock with extensive support teams to get everything back up and running. However, we don’t know yet how long that will take and expect connectivity issues throughout the week. If you have sent an email to an employee within our organization within the last few days, that communication may not have been delivered. We encourage anyone needing to contact us to please call the clinic, department, or individual directly. You can find many numbers listed on our website at www.sanjuanregional.com. We also have operators available 24/7 by calling our main hospital line 505.609.2000.

Resident Dies after House Fire N. of Aztec

Crews arrived to find a structure on fire and the occupant inside. Despite a quick response from fire crews and efforts by San Juan County Sheriff’s Deputies, one occupant was removed from the structure by firefighters and transported to the hospital by San Juan Regional Medical Center EMS. The occupant was pronounced dead at the hospital.
