After a two-hour coordinated search of the surrounding area, the juvenile suspect was located and arrested. There were no injuries sustained by the suspect, officers, or bystanders during the incident.

On the morning of February 8, 2021, the Bloomfield Police Department received a call that a juvenile had left his home armed with a gun with the intent to commit robbery. Upon arrival near the juvenile's residence, officers were flagged down by the West Broadway Dollar General regarding an armed robbery that had just occurred. The suspect fled the area and local law enforcement officers were called in to help locate the suspect.
After a two-hour coordinated search of the surrounding area, the juvenile suspect was located and arrested. There were no injuries sustained by the suspect, officers, or bystanders during the incident. The investigation into the armed robbery by the Bloomfield Police Department is on-going.
