From the San Juan County Sheriff's Office:

On 05/17/2016 at approximately 8:43 pm, Deputies were dispatched to Blanco Blvd, just east of Bloomfield City limits for a fight in progress. Upon arrival, Deputies located several subjects who all admitted to fighting. They also contacted one male subject who had been hit with a baseball bat and was bleeding from the head.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a confrontation occurred at the 7-2-11 Convenience Store in Bloomfield and then moved toward Blanco. According to witness statements, Donovan Armenta produced the baseball bat and struck someone over the head with it, causing the baseball bat to split in two pieces.
Evidence at the scene and witness statements support allegations that another suspect (not currently charged) then struck the vehicle with the bat and threw river rocks on it, causing damages estimated by the owner to be approximately $1,500. All individuals were contacted and interviewed.
